1988 Entertainment started as a concert and event production company located in Bend, Oregon. 1988 Entertainment was originally founded in 2004 under the name Red Light Productions by John Davis and Mikee Snyder and ran until 2008 Red Light Productions went on a hiatus from 2008 – 2011 as Davis toured as a full time musician for a number of bands. In 2011 Davis returned to Bend, OR and started producing concerts in Oregon. In 2018 the company was pushed to do a rebrand; currently, 1988 Entertainment is managed by John Davis and Codi Carroll. 1988 Entertainment produces 120-150 a year concerts in seven markets and 17 venues in the Pacific North West. 1988 Entertainment has a hand in many sides of the entertainment industry, 1988 also managers sponsorship, partnership and endorsement opportunities for a handful of clients (please see Brand Endorsement & Sponsorship), 1988 also owns and runs a boutique recording studio out of Bend, OR the studio has worked with notable artists like Bassnectar, Fallstar (Facedown Records), Capture The Flag, Cait Ford (The Voice), Sleepy, Good Grief and up and coming artist Active Sun.
