1988 Entertainment started as a concert and event production company located in Bend, Oregon. Originally founded in 2004 under the name Red Light Productions by John Davis and Mikee Snyder, the company ran until 2008 when Davis took a break to tour as a full-time musician until 2011. That year, Davis returned to Bend and started producing concerts in Oregon. In 2018 the company rebranded itself as 1988 Entertainment with John Davis and Codi Carroll. Today 1988 Entertainment produces 120 to 150 concerts a year in seven markets at 17 venues across the Pacific Northwest. The company also managers sponsorship, partnership, and endorsement opportunities and owns and runs a Bend-based boutique recording studio that has worked with notable artists like Bassnectar, Fallstar (Facedown Records), Capture The Flag, Cait Ford (The Voice), and others.
